Skinny Margarita Recipe: A Refreshing Summer Cocktail

Kosher Salt or Coarsely Ground Sea Salt

4 oz. ( ½ cup) silver tequila

3 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

2 tsp. Light Agave Nectar

2 Lime Wedges or rounds, for garnish

Step 1:

Pour a layer of salt onto a small plate. Slice off a small piece of lime and run the wet edge of the slice along half of the rim of your glass. Dip the top of the glass into the salt at a 45-degree angle and roll it from side to side to catch the salt.

Step 2: 

Add ice cubes to your margarita glass and set it aside.

Step 3: 

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the tequila, freshly squeezed lime and orange juice and agave nectar. Put on the lid and shake for 30 seconds. Strain the liquid into your glass. 

Step 4: 

Garnish with a slice of lime.
