Louis Vuitton Core Values 2024 Ad Campaign

Louis Vuitton’s “Core Values” campaigns have become the stuff of fashion legend, and have been on the go for almost two decades. First launched in 2007, the storied French fashion house’s have been in collaboration with famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. Everyone from Francis Ford Coppola and Catherine Deneuve to Angelina Jolie and the late Sean Connery have starred in Vuitton’s iconic campaign series throughout the years. For 2024, revered tennis champions Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal make an appearance. Shot by Leibovitz, the sporting legends were captured on location atop Italy’s majestic Dolomites mountain range in the striking and spectacular campaign image.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“I love her, but Annie is a master at making on-location shoots look like they were shot… anywhere else, and just Photoshopped into a stock photo background,” shared KoV.

“This isn’t entirely CGI?” asked Nimsay.

“It’s shot on location. And it looks fake as hell. Not to mention both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are so handsome and she made them look bad,” Alquimista critiqued.

Creative wasn’t exactly enthralled either, commenting: “I don’t know why Annie Leivobitz keeps getting jobs. I really don’t get it.”

“A mess. Both men look like they’re anguishing in the snow and the composition is so ‘behind-the-scenes’. I get that Annie Leibovitz wanted to capture them in action. However, a posed picture on the mountain would have looked more finished and epic,” voiced WinstonH20.

Cocteau Stone describe the shot as “an off-brand international version of an action movie franchise poster!”
