FATHER’S DAY GIFT IDEAS
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am currently in Los Angeles. I flew in on Friday to spend a few days with my daughter and her family. We had a jam-packed weekend! We drove to Ojai on Saturday and spent the day there. I had never been and what a gorgeous place it is! I couldn’t believe that I was in California! The mountains are beautiful; Ojai, combined with the horse farms and flowers, seems magical. Yesterday, we got up early and got my oldest (almost 3) granddaughter dressed and ready for her first dance recital! She was in two numbers, and it was a hoot! If you had daughters or have granddaughters that are the “littlest” in recitals, you know what I’m talking about! My granddaughter froze for a few minutes, then did a few turns and a few tendus (she showed me that movement and description beforehand!). Anyway, that was the real reason I came.
I’m honestly so far behind on blogging and photos. We have been traveling a lot (lots of 3-day trips), and I have difficulty catching up. However, I wanted to get this post out because Father’s Day is right around the corner. I know some of you have an easy time with the men in your life, but I have the hardest time finding gifts for my husband and the daddies in my life. I have found some items below that I hope will inspire you to go shopping for Father’s Day.
I also wanted to share an effortless look. I am a big fan of Sezané and was lucky enough to attend an event in Dallas a few weeks ago with the brand. Because they don’t have a store in Dallas, I saw the products in person and loved them even more. I love striped shirts, but I always seem to find them in blues and greens. I was so happy to get this Tomboy shirt in this ecru/camel stripe. I have also been carrying around this great straw tote with leather handles. I love this bag because it has a lining that you can cinch closed. I don’t understand the straw bags that don’t have closures or anything to secure your things. It makes no sense to me! I’m wearing my favorite AYR jeans. I seriously need to purchase another pair because I am wearing these out! I love the fit! Last, these gorgeous sandals (come in black, too) from my favorite shoe store, Madison Maison I have been wearing on repeat. I am crazy for the rhinestone buckle! I’m off to read a few books and play before meeting my friends this afternoon and attend an event in LA. If my daughter has to live here, I’m glad I have friends to visit, too! I hope you have a great day!
