Taylor Swift Tells Fans ‘I Didn’t Do Anything’ After She Accidentally Steals Chiefs Spotlight

Taylor Swift truly cannot go anywhere without becoming the center of attention. And that was certainly the case at Sunday’s AFC Championship game, where the pop star cheered on her boyfriend—Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce—to victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Following the pivotal win, which secured the Chiefs’ spot in the 2024 Super Bowl, Swift flooded the field to congratulate Kelce before quietly attempting to exit M&T Bank Stadium and head to an after-party with fellow WAG Brittany Mahomes in tow. On her way out, though, a hilarious exchange between the pop star and a screaming fan was on camera.

In the clip, which was subsequently shared on X, a shrill fan can be heard screaming “You did that shit!” as Swift walks by.

Swift instantly yelled back, “I didn’t do anything!”, gently refusing to take credit like the proud girlfriend she is. But Chiefs fans weren’t the only ones losing their cool around Swift on Sunday. She also managed to reduce legendary quarterback-turned-sports commentator Tony Romo to unabashed fangirl behavior when the two crossed paths on the field after the game. In footage of their interaction, Swift can be heard praising Romo for a job well done on his coverage, to which he seemingly insisted that she is “even better.”
